matlab-gdf software package provides IO library for the GDF -- Matlab interface, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install matlab-gdf
matlab-gdf is installed in your system.
Make ensure the matlab-gdf package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep matlab-gdf *
You will get with matlab-gdf package name, version, architecture and description in a table
